I’m Brooke, a long-time lover of dress up and all things spooky. I’m a professional cosplayer, content creator, and makeup artist based in Los Angeles, CA.

I cut my cosplay teeth (unwittingly) in high school, when I pulled an all-nighter sewing a cloak and dressed as Jedi Leia for “Nerd Day.” I spent all day explaining to the kids in my class that Leia could absolutely be a Jedi, but ultimately felt that no one “got it.” Oh sweet, summer child. Little did I know that a few years later I’d find my people at Dragon Con.
As a fresh dragonling my love for costumes and niche nerdery was reignited, and I soon debuted my cosplay (wittingly) as the goddess Persephone—a simple thrifted dress and a flower crown.

How far I’ve come! It’s been 10 years of creating, figuring it out, and forcing myself to re-learn how to sew. Whew! Now I can proudly say that I’ve cosplayed across the country, won & judged contests, and met so many friends who also just can’t stop making things.
